From the time you’re diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis you have been changed. In a physical way and in a mental way. You have yet to really understand the debt of what this all means. Getting RA and hearing those diagnosis is the start of your Journey. Your journey, what has that been like!

Is it riddled with misunderstanding. Lack of limitations. Loneliness, guilt or some of the worse that we face every day, pain and fatigue. You’re not alone. We’re in this journey with you. A journey that many people will never fully understand no matter how much you try to explain.

Explaining. Does that fall on deaf ears. Does your suffering go unnoticed. Does it all began to feel like it’s just a normal part of this terrible battle you have to deal with along with having this disease. Fighting for your survival with RA while fighting for understanding as to why your normal life isn’t so normal anymore. Seeing that no matter how hard you try it’s just not working out in your favor, therefore you have many battles to fight in this journey.

Rheumatoid Arthritis. A brutal disease. Do people get that. Do they know this is a disease that changes everything about you and your life. Being who you were and doing what you once could just isn’t in your life anymore. They don’t see that trying is something we wonโ€™t give up on and how much we suffer in pain to prove it can be an issue for us. This is a life changing disease with words far more reaching consequences than “you have Rheumatoid Arthritis”.

Our journey! Your journey! It is a difficult one. One that we have to travel alone if that is where it takes us.

Be Blessed!
