Do you hurt so much you wonder if it’s possible for pain to actually be this intense, relenting, powerful and debilitating.  Well this is what having Rheumatoid Arthritis does to you and I.  That’s right, its victims which are many.  Anything that can hurt someone as much and as long means we are its victims.  Victims of its devastation which has become our constant companion, something that touches us someway every day. One thing I realize after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, it is a very lonely disease.  So many of the people in your life seem to disappear over time.  The ones that offer their dying support and seem to understand what you’re going through don’t really understand at all and they leave one by one time and time again. I Have Rheumatoid Arthritis So What Now

Finally being diagnosed was a very painful reality but I had no idea what it all meant really.  I had no clue what Rheumatoid Arthritis was and like so many thought is was arthritis at first.  Silly me, was I in for a learning experience.  The doctor did his best to explain it but that didn’t go very well because there’s too much to know and I actually had to feel my way through things for myself.  My doctor is a good doctor, I’m still with him today so he’s been there through the long hall.
