RA – Rheumatoid Arthritis – Medications and Our Weakened Immune System – How Do You Take Charge

Our immune system is designed to protect us from anything that it thinks is a harm to us so it believes that Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease which is an autoimmune disease is harmful so it attacks it and this is why we have to take medications that are designed to help us but they weakens our immune system and causes us to be at risk for many things that can be a danger to us. How do we protect our weakened immune system? Are there things that you are embarrassed to do or say! Are you afraid to say things to others in order to protect yourself! We fight, we struggle, we fight and struggle again. It feels as if this circle of Rheumatoid Disease is taking us around and around only pausing for just a little while. RA – Having Rheumatoid Arthritis – Are Your Joints Telling The Whole Story

We know with rheumatoid arthritis there is pain in so many of our joints. It’s not just our hands and feet that drives us crazy but it can start in any joint. My pain started in my right hand and my right foot so it can vary from person to person. I barely had any swelling and no joint damage but lots of pain. I guess that’s the mystery of this disease.
